Dr. Kurtom was the attending for my father's traumatic brain injury. His diagnosis was incorrect with a clear ageism bias. Medication was under evaluated and administered w/out oversight. Overall treatment unhelpful and useless.

I am a young, active male adult and recently had to undergo a L5-S1 TLIF (Fusion) surgery with Dr. Kurtom... While this of course was a difficult time, I cannot stress enough how much confidence I had in Dr. Kurtom heading into my procedure and the comfort I had knowing I was in good hands. I am slightly over one month out and already making drastic progress and cannot wait to resume my active tendencies! I would highly recommend Dr. Kurtom to anyone.

Dr. Kurtom performed a Lumbar Laminectomy and fusion in July 2020. The surgery went exactly how he explained it, the recovery also. His staff is excellent and easy to work with. The only difficulties I encountered were the recovery was considerably more painful than I had expected and the codeine based medications for pain were not especially helpful. To be fair I have never had much luck with codeine based pain killers. The only other issue was a left leg that kept collapsing when I tried to walk, even with a walker. During follow up Dr. Kurtom indicated that this sometimes happens and physical therapy would most likely fix the issue. The PT is working and after 30 days I am ambulatory. Overall, I am pleased with the results so far.

Saw him once and set up for removal of a spinal cord stimulator. Went back for my ONE and ONLY post operative appointment and saw a Nurse Practitioner, NOT the Dr. The NP never looked at my back, ask to look at my back and never discussed any MRI results that I had performed. I was seen for one POV and my insurance was charge when POV's are included in Surgery. Because he documented that HE saw me, I owe a copay! What a SCAM! NO ONE looked at my back or discussed anything!!

I don't think you can find a Doctor with more knowledge and integrity that Dr. Kurtom. He saved me from a major operation that I did not need. I always thought you had to go to the Western Shore of Maryland for anything major. I am thrilled to know that for my needs, the best doctor is right here in Easton. Thank you Dr Kurtom!

My primary gp, upon discovering my brain tumor promptly sent me to Dr. Kurtom located in Easton, MD. Just to be sure, I made an appointment at Hopkins as well because everyone knows you need to get across the bridge for this kind of medical treatment. Upon leaving Dr. Kurtom's office I promptly cancelled my Hopkins appointment. Dr. Kurtom, thanks to his sacrifice, dedication, discipline and hard work earns the title "gifted surgeon" and can be trusted with your life. I know for he saved mine

Dr.Kurtom was great, everything that i had been told before hand was correct. He listens and explains everything so the average patient can understand whats going to take place. His entire staff is so professional. All paperwork that you need is provided to you in plenty of time before your scheduled appt. All appts. are scheduled for you , you don't have to do anything but show up. I can't say enough about his surgery coordinator Cystal. She is friendly and very professional.

Calling a neurosurgeon and artisan may sound strange, but Kahlid Kurtom is indeed an expert craftsman and phenomenally skilled surgeon. He basically rebuilt my neck. I cannot over state how comfortable he made me feel each time we spoke and how genuine he was about answering questions and treating the whole patient, not just my vertebrae. Dr. Kurtom's team of professionals, most notably the anesthesiologist AND the nursing staff at Easton were also amazing.
