Kevin G. Shea, MD, AAOS, ABOS is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and specializes in sports medicine and trauma, and pediatric orthopaedics. He serves as team physician for Rocky Mountain High School. His research interests and publications include osteochondritis dissecans, anatomy of knee injury in children and adolescents, and evidence based analysis of injury prevention programs. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine, and completed his orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Utah. His fellowships include AO and Trauma, pediatric orthopaedics, and Ilizarov. He was a 2008 AOSSM South American Traveling Sports Medicine Fellow and a 2009 AAOS Leadership Fellow.
