Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Dr. Luttrell specializes in orthopedic trauma and has active licenses in both Texas (#P6998) and Massachusetts (#258015). He is apart of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and is an AO Trauma member. Dr. Luttrell came to Azalea from Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he served as Harvard Partners Combined Orthopaedic Trauma Fellow. Prior to that, he completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Dr. Luttrell lives in Tyler with his wife Denise and their one child.

"Traumatic orthopedic injuries such as fractures can cause a significant disruption in quality of life. Long term consequences of the damage caused by these injuries can also lead to decreased satisfaction and enjoyment in activities. With specialized training and surgical techniques I can help maximize function and restore quality of life for people who suffer these traumatic injuries and their complications. It is my goal to help patients regain independence, return to work, and enjoy those aspects of their lives that they lost after such a stressful time."
