I had a previous shoulder surgery from another doctor in Atlanta, GA that did not go well. I lived in pain and with limited ability to do much of the things that I enjoyed. I moved to Jacksonville and a friend told me about Dr Kaplan. I really didn't want to have another shoulder surgery but made the appointment. The genuine concern Dr Kaplan showed and his expertise came through on my first meeting with him. The surgery and follow up were complete successes and I'm so grateful to Dr Kaplan.

Only five stars cause six isn't an option. I had "some other guy" do surgery on my left knee about 12 years ago. Walked with a cane or crutches for 3 weeks. Lots of pain and a 10 week rehab. Fast forward to 2018 and my right knee started giving me trouble. Now I'm 54 and thinking I'm gonna have a harder recovery. I did some research and Dr Kaplan was highly rated. Sooo impressed. I walked the night of surgery without pain. never used crutches, never needed pain meds. Rockstar in my book. Thanks

Dr. Kaplan and his team were FANTASTIC! From my first appointment to my last, every person I came in contact with from his office, pre-opt and my therapy were all courteous, friendly and on time. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaplan for your orthopedic needs. The results from my surgery were amazing! Before surgery my shoulder and arm ached all day, I had very little motion and I couldn't sleep. I am happy to say I have full range of motion back in my shoulder and no more sleepless nights.

It was a pleasure having Dr. Kevin Kaplan and he’s team working with me on both my 2016 left shoulder surgery and my 2017 right shoulder surgery. Regarding the required physical therapy after the surgery, working with the Mandarin JOI group was also an excellent experience. They were very professional and courteous at all times. Word of advice do the complete physical therapy or the surgery would be a waste of time.

Dr. Kaplan and his staff have always provided me outstanding medical care. Dr. Kaplan diagnosed and repaired my right arm about 6 years ago and I made a full recovery. Then just 3 months ago I injured my left arm. Once the doctor at the emergency room confirmed my worst fear I called Dr. Kaplans office on a Friday afternoon and had an appt Monday morning. He performed a full diagnosis and had me in surgery by the end of the week. Thanks to him I have made a full recovery once again.
