Dr. Kevin Denny is a board certified ophthalmologist who currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at San Francisco's California Pacific Medical Center. He has shared his surgical experience and expertise abroad through surgical missions to the Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala and Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India. Dr. Denny graduated with honors from Harvard University before he received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from New York University, where he was recognized with the Mosby Scholar Award. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the California Pacific Medical Center, and has been working in San Francisco since. Dr. Denny is an author of numerous publications including "Iritis and Elevated IOP After Piggyback IOLs" in Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today (2010) and "Transitioning from Cataract to Refractive IOL Surgery" in a reference for all cataract and refractive surgeons titled Mastering Refractive IOLs: The Art and Science (2008). All facets of Dr. Denny's history and practice show his commitment to personalized and longitudinal patient care. By integrating ophthalmology, optometry and an optical dispensary into a single practice, Dr. Denny and his team at Denny Eye and Laser Center are dedicated to providing an individualized eye care experience for each patient.
