Thank you so much Dr B for getting rid of my pain & restoring my life! Most importantly you got me off addictive drugs that were controlling me more than my pain. At first I didn't listen to you bc my previous pain doc gave me those horrible drugs so I felt entitled. I'm so glad you patiently stuck with me even though I argued like a total brat. You did your marvelous procedures & weaned my drugs so they are no longer hijacking my brain. Bless you Dr B for TRULY CARING!!

Dr Balter is the best pain doctor I have met (and I have been around the block). He treated me as a person, NOT as a diagnosis. He took my pain symptoms seriously and did not label me a drug addict just because I had taken narcotics for many years. He accurately diagnosed my pain problem and after treatment my pain was relieved enough that I got off of pain meds including narcotics and I was able to get my life back together again. I love you Dr Balter!

Dr. Balter was arrogant and had horrible bedside manner. He was in a hurry and did not even look at the MRI scan I had with me and did abosolutly nothing for my pain. Waste of time.

When we meet and discuss my treatment he does not listen to me. I was with Methodist Pain Clinic and we tried every medication made in the U.S. at that time and the only medication we found that actually works is the Hydrocodone and he took me off one month then gave it back the next month and took it away again on our next visit...

Waited forever to see him. He seemed like he was in a rush and quickly rushed through my appointment. Has no empathy and compassion. Left with pain and can't believe he stole some other doctors specialty spot just for the greed of it. Didn't really seem to care that I was in pain. You also pee in a cup as if you were some drug addict.

Dr Balter is a VERY compassionate and capable doc. He listened to me when I felt at my vulnerable worst, when I had become angry and distrustful dealing with my pain and addiction for so long. I felt no one understood or cared to help me. I thought Dr Balter would be one more disappointment but he did not give up on me and that gave me hope and confidence to embrace his help. That was my best decision! I am grateful to feel normal again & regain my self respect. Thank you Dr Balter!

Dr. Balter is a wonderful physician. He is compassionate, he listens, and he helped me with my pain so that I did not have to give up my air force career. He got me off of opioids which was required to keep my job. I had seen four previous pain doctors and was not helped. If I wasn't so desperate I probably would have given up before seeing Dr Balter. Thank the lord I didn't give up!

After 3 years He is still in a hurry and tends not to listen. He had an assistant, a nurse practitioner, Kim Craig that was incredible AAA! Due to her I stayed with the clinic, however she didn't stay there long! I am retired military and I have moved 18 times and had 18 different pain MD's and most are all the same! It appears from discussions with the Dr's that the insurance companies screw them hard on most issues, however they get paid extremely well for the Radio Freq. Procedures!

Having exhausted all other options to treat my chronic pain associated with my cervical degenerative disc disease and acute pain associated with my total knee replacement, I was referred to Dr Balter. From the first visit I could tell he was exceptionally compassionate. Unlike MANY other doctors, he actually LISTENED to me. Two years later he remains the KINDEST, MOST CONCERNED doctor I have ever visited. His staff also rocks and are always unbelievably professional in a very busy practice!!!
