I had my left hip replacement on 6/14/18 and I am amazed at the entire process and how great my experience with Dr Schmidt has been. I did a lot of research before selecting him and actually cancelled this surgery which was originally scheduled at the Core Institute after poor experience with their schedulers and office staff. Two hours after surgery I walked 145 ft, and could walk the hallways easily the next day and was sent home! Oasis Hospital is also fantastic. Thanks to all!!!

Dr. Schmidt has a fantastic sense of humor, is easy to speak to, listens, and ends every appointment with 'do you have any questions' and actually looks you in the eye and waits for a response. He will give you the in-depth technical answer or the quickie answer, whichever it is you want. AND he did a fantastic job on my total hip and knee replacements and I had phenomenal results! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schmidt! I highly recommend him.

I absolutely will refer friends, family and even total strangers to Dr. Schmidt. He listens, he observes and he takes action! I had a total hip replacement four years ago ... not Dr. Schmidt. I had ongoing chronic, bursa, thigh and groin pain and thought I had to live with it. Dr. Schmidt changed my mind. He listened, observed and treated appropriately. I am pain free and feel like dancing! Thank you for giving back my quality of life.

I don’t usually write reviews but this time I feel I should. I have had 2 prior hip replacement surgeries and one hip revision surgery over the past 25+ years. All three of the past surgeries have went well with no complications. In late October of 2017, I had another hip revision surgery. Dr. Kenneth Schmidt performed the surgery at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix. I am writing this review because of my awesome experience with Dr. Schmidt and his team. It has been 11 years since my la

This was 1st time appointment with orthopaedist for evaluation/treatment of knee discomfort. X-rays were taken in-house, followed by review and discussion with Dr Schmidt. He was friendly, attentive to my description of symptoms, and thorough in his explanation of probable causes and treatment options. The appointment did not feel rushed, wait times were acceptable, and other staff members were incredibly pleasant.

I met with Dr. Schmidt to discuss a total hip replacement. His explanation of the necessity for the procedure, the surgical process and the recovery process was so complete that I really didn’t have any questions after hearing what he had to say. I felt very confident with going ahead with the procedure. I was impressed by his caring manner and thoroughness is every aspect of my surgery and recovery. I definitely would recommend Dr. Schmidt to anyone contemplating hip replacement surgery.

When I had my lst appt w/ Dr. Schmidt I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy he was to talk to & how much information he gave me on my 1st visit. He laid out the choices I had, answered all my questions & as I left he said: 'if you have any more questions don't hesitate to call and ask me'. I felt totally comfortable. I had the surgery on Jan 26 & have been thrilled with his 'go to' nurse Ashley who gets back to me fast after I call with a concern or issue. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt!

Upon my first visit with Dr. Schmidt for (what turns out to be), an emerging condition of hip arthritis, I found him to be the consummate medical professional; thoroughly skilled, and superbly schooled in his specialty, which became quite evident to me as the visit progressed. Equally important to me as a patient, (and an attribute that also defines an outstanding Physician in my opinion), is his genuine, sincere and caring 'bedside-manner'. Couldn't ask for more, and feeling far better already.
