His other medical interests include shoulder and elbow arthroscopy, shoulder and elbow replacement, carpal tunnel release and disorders of the hand and arm. Schiffman is a member of the American Medical Association, America Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Association for Hand Surgery, Chicago Society of Surgery of the Hand and Illinois Orthopedic Society. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Fla. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. He then completed fellowships in orthopaedic trauma at Sunnybrook Medical Centre in Toronto, and hand and upper extremity surgery at Princess Margaret Rose Hospital in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Kenneth Schiffman sees patients at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, located at 701 W. North Ave. in Melrose Park."

Dr. Schiff man was very thorough and is an excellent surgeon. My wife broke both of her arms at the wrists. ..very rare, but Dr. Schiffman provided excellent consulation, surgery and follow-up.
