I have never experienced a kinder, more passionate and compassionate doctor in all my 60 years. He is exceptional at his skill, but more than that, he is giving of his time when he is with you. He does not rush and will answer your questions before you ask as well as those you haven't thought of. There is no other doctor I would recommend so highly as I do Dr. Ken Mathis.

I find it hard to believe a real patient could write that Dr. Mathis is kind and caring. He is rude and arrogant and won't let a patient finish a sentence. He is running strictly a knee replacement factory and nothing else. If you go for an office visit with Dr.Mathis, you will see what I mean. I would not recommend this doctor to any one.

Dr Mathis replaced both my hips in 2000/2001. I am walking and not stuck in a wheelchair. He always gives me all the time I need and answers my questions. If you need orthopedic help in Houston, he is the guy to call. Ps my hips still are going stong, I just finished a week at scout camp.

Dr. Mathis is truly a very caring and sensitive Dr. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable asking questions. He sat and explained everything I needed to know about my hip replacement. I have never felt so sure of a physician before and was ready without hesitation. He knows what he's talking about.

Two years ago, I had to have my right hip joint replaced and the process was excellent. Now, I'm having lots of trouble with my left hip joint and I'm going right back to the best surgeon for this in the area. I only wish that his schedule would have allowed me to get in to the process earlier. I had to schedule my first visit one month out which means that his excellence is in very high demand. If you want the best, you wait for the best!

Dr Mathis replaced my right knee that had greatly bothered me for 30 years. I have had absolutely no issues and can climb stairs like a teenager. I highly recommend him for any type of knee surgery
in Hoyston, TX |
Had knee surgery with complications occurring 6 months after surgery. Bursa infection causing 2 1/2 wks in hospital treatment with antibiotics. Very hard to lay there 3 wks when I requested home health care vs in patient. Hard incident.
