NATURE OF COMPLAINT
admits that for several years he engaged in sexual relationships with four adult females, one who was not his patient when the relationship began but eventually became his patient.
Dr. Lovette relinquishes his license to practice in lieu of disciplinary action.

10/30/02: Consent Order for License Reinstatement
Dr. Lovette completed an evaluation at the Behavioral Medicine Institute of Atlanta and is being treated by a psychologist for his anxiety and depression. He has entered into a contract with the NCPHP who reports he has been compliant.
Dr. Lovette is issued a license to expire on 02/28/03
Unless lawfully prescribed for him by someone other than himself, he shall refrain from the use of alcohol and all mind- or mood-altering substances
At the Board’s request, he shall supply bodily fluids or tissues for screening
He shall maintain and abide by a contract with the NCPHP
He may not supervise physician assistants
He must comply with other conditions
02/20/03: Temporary license extended to expire 10/21/03.
08/01/03: Consent Order Amendment Paragraph #5 is deleted. He may now supervise physician assistants.
10/16/03: Reinstated full and unrestricted license.
03/18/04: Order Lifting Consent Orders. The previous Consent Orders are no longer in effect and Dr. Berry is hereby relieved of any continuing obligations.
