This content was provided by Dr. Levitsky "Dr. Levitsky was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of a pediatrician. He began his undergraduate training close to his family home at the University of Delaware where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in his junior year. He was also a recipient of the Hewlett Packard Award for top medical student as well as the Martin J. Loeb Award. He subsequently completed his Orthopaedic Residency at the Tufts Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program in Boston. While in the program he authored numerous academic publications and presented his research at national orthopaedic meetings. Upon his graduation, Dr. Levitsky went on to complete a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Levitsky has also graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with an MBA, specializing in finance. A long time staff member of The Valley Hospital as well as a member of the teaching faculty at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Levitsky is actively involved Resident education. At The Valley Hospital, Dr. Levitsky has been Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee for a number of years. Dr. Levitsky also served as the Director of Education for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Levitsky is a former orthopaedic foot and ankle consultant for the New Jersey Nets, and has been the team physician for the Glen Rock Panthers since 1993."
