Dr Garrod has done surgery on my hands decades ago for carpal tunnel which turned out amazing. I had a half inch scar and the pain was gone. Dr Darrod has operated on "trigger fingers" in 2017 and 2019 and I would never consider going to another doc tor for my hands. He is such a skilled surgeon and his office staff is very helpful.

My review is based on his office staff. I have not seen the doctor as I tried for 2 weeks to get an appointment. Phone would be answered and hung up with no talking. Once, someone actually did answer, asked me to hold, came right back and said hello..It took me 2 seconds to respond and she hung up before I could. Tried to contact the office via their website and both times I was ignored....He was highly recommended by a colleague, but at this point, I will go elsewhere...

So glad I decided to have Dr. Garrod do both my hands for carpal tunnel surgery. Everyone I mentioned him to as to whom was/did my surgery, even doctors, spoke very highly of him. Best decision I made going to him.

Dr. Garrod is an amazing surgeon. He has operated on me twice, once for a trigger finger and 10 days ago for carpal tunnel. The stitches came out this morning and I am thrilled at how easy this surgery was and that I already have full use of my hand. The only restriction I have is if I do something that hurts, don’t do it. I highly recommend Dr. Garrod for any hand surgery.

Dr. Garrod was outstanding. Dr. Garrod was very professional, attentive, caring and courteous. He was straightforward in his diagnosis and precise in the proper treatment to heal as soon as possible. Julia Kleinman, the occupational therapist with whom I met weekly for therapy and changing the bandages, was terrific. Julie has a wonderful personality which made a painful experience very pleasant and reassuring. The entire office staff was very friendly, causing my visits to be enjoyable.

My experience with Dr. Garrod was exceptional in many ways. First, his office staff is caring and efficient. It is easy to schedule appointments and, once there, the wait to see the doctor is minimal. Dr. Garrod is careful to explain things and a patient feels safe because it is obvious he has had lots of experience with these procedures. His surgery facility and staff are first rate, making the actual surgery as comfortable and smooth as possible. I highly recommend this doctor.

Most recently I had a week-end emergency with my wrist. Dr. Garrod responded and tended to this problem without regard to the fact this was a Sunday morning. His response was quick and exceptional. I can only feel fortunate to have Dr. Garrod as my personal Hand and orthopaedic surgeon. His staff is equally caring and responsive, truly an exception in this day of medical turmoil Respectfully Theodore Boinis..A great full patient

I had trigger finger. We agreed on cortisone shots on three occasions. Since the finger continued to lock he surgically released the tendon. After receiving local anesthesia there was absolutely no pain during or after the surgery, as he predicted. Post-op therapy appears to be working. Prediction: Back to normal in two months. Doctor and In-House therapists are honest, qualified and caring.

I would recommend Dr. Garrod to anyone that needs hand surgery. He did an excellent job on my hand. He did basil joint surgery and you would not know I had surgery as you can not see the scar. He is a caring Doctor and when you go to his office you don't have to plan on spending the day waiting to be seen. His staff is very friendly and efficient.
