If you are referred to this office it is very difficult to get through to a medical professional. The 2 stars have no reflection on the Dr.'s skills they reflect the unresponsiveness of the office as a whole. I understand this is just routine for them however from the patient's perspective it is a scary situation filled with uncertainty. My new Dr and staff are accessible and willing to work with me. No matter the situation stay empowered about your Health.

From the staff at the front desk, to Dr. Pugar, all were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I waited less than 10 minutes to see Dr. Pugar. All of my questions were answered, and I felt like he truly cared and knew my chart (prior tests, appointments, etc). I was very impressed. I feel very confident that he will be able to help me. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Pugar and his office to family and friends.

Dr. Doug Pugar saw my 89 year old mom who is a bit doctor shy. He spent time with her and did a complete evaluation and found she was not having a neuro problem but something else. He made the appropriate referral; she has been seen and was treated and now feels 100% better. His demeanor with her was fabulous as he listened to all her symptoms and concerns. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Excellent bedside manner. I've seen a few other neurologists in the past and he is the only one that actually listened to me and my symptoms. Addressed all of my concerns and explained things clearly. Only complaint is that it took a little while to get in to see him (but only about 2 months so really not all that bad).

I was not even referred to him. It was for his dad. A pity, the screw up. Now i will go elsewhere, but all the while, also dealing with something, that at one time, was intermittent. But, now, a side of my body is numb and stays tingly. Plus, i have a history of passing out. Sadly, after reading the area of interest he leans towards, it doesn't surprise me that despite only one massive headache in my life, he wanted to say this is migraines. I can't feel my toes right now, but thank you!

He did not have to think too much about our discussion as his plan of action seemed to occur to him right away. I’ll be going back and definitely found him impressive and competent.
