      Dr. Brooks says...

      Originally from New York City, Dr. Kenneth Brooks has been the owner of and a practicing physician at Cardiac Care Associates since 1986. His professional interests include interventional cardiology; enhanced counter pulsation as an anti-ischemic tool, and endovenous laser treatment. Dr. Brooks is also the Medical Director at The Healthy Weigh Now weight loss clinic in Reston, Virginia.

      After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Chicago in 1970, Dr. Brooks pursued his medical education at Tulane University Medical School. Following the completion of an internship and residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, Kenneth Brooks pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

      For his continued dedication to his patients and his clinical expertise, Dr. Kenneth Brooks was named a Washingtonian Magazine Top Doctor in 2008 and 2012.
