Had been a patient of his for many years as he used to be really good. Was accessible, spent time explaining things, returned calls etc., and I had recommended him to many. NOT anymore as he has changed. The care you receive seems to depend on his mood that day. Once over heard him muttereing negative things about a patient when Dr. was in the hallway. He does not return calls and sadly has a lack of concern.

I have been going to Dr. Ackerman for about 8 years for routine matters and thought he was excellent UNTIL very recently I had an abnormal blood result that he signed off on and waited 5 days to give me AFTER I called the office daily. When he finally did call the first thing he asked was "what can I do for you"? When asked why he had not returned my calls in5 days, he then admonished me by yelling "Don't you know there is a flu epidemic"? When he saw my abnormal Albumin he sang a different tune

Horrible doctor who doesn't care. I went right before Memorial Day, so I thought he was just in a rush. But when I came for follow up visit, he treated me the same way. He's not thorough. Barely asked any questions. Offered me diet pills off the gate when I said I needed to lose a few lbs (I'm only 130 lbs). I said no, I'll lose it naturally. He literally just had someone take my blood and asked if I had a major concern. It was not a good exam. This year, I'm finding someone new.

My mom and I both use Dr. Kenneth Ackerman as our internist. She has been seeing him for 20 years and I have been seeing him for 3 years. I decided to go to Dr. Ackerman when I had outgrown my pediatrician and had met Dr. Ackerman through treating my mom and heard nothing but good things, so I decided to try him for myself. When I went for my first physical, I was nervous(partly because I hadn't had any blood drawn in 10 years) but once the appointment started, I felt at ease.

Dr. Ackerman is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things. He is respectful, courteous, & understanding. He views patients as a whole and devises a plan of care that respects the entire person (their physical, emotional, psychological, & their lives (& life's impact on one). He is compassionate, sincere, understanding, and caring. He possesses an excellent bedside manner. He does what is in the patients' best interest. I have recommended him to my family & friends.

Dr. Ackerman is the best doctor I've ever been to and I have sent friends there who've had good experiences with him as well. He's really nice and friendly and was able to treat an issue I had for 2 years that no one else could treat.

I would not recommend dr. Ackerman. His office is impossible to deal with , they don't answer the phones , and don't return messages .i needed a prior authorization on my medication and called several times and the doctor didnt take care of it! I finally emailed him and he wrote back, it's not heart medication, don't harass me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt , but he did it again. The second time he wrote, it will be taken care of, but it was not done in a timely fashion.

Horrible Doctor! After some research and the ratings on this site I sent my father here (he visited him twice).. The man does not know how to talk to his patients. He talks down to his patients and is simply rude. If you are looking for a good doctor for yourself or anyone that you love...spare yourself from the pain and don't waste yourf time. DO NOT GO TO HIM! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. #WORSTDOCTOREXPERIENCE
