Dr. Kelly Favre, thank you for care! You are absolutely amazing with your knowledge and expertise. My trip to the Emergency room for an appendectomy was of course unexpected and a bit scary, but I had the most awesome female team of Nurses and Doctors helping me. That was wonderful to see. I thank the whole team for their help and your office staff, professional, kind and patient. ?

Dr. Favre has performed two laparoscopic procedures for me. I have had many surgeries and she is, without a doubt, the most competent and caring surgeon I’ve encountered. Her abdominal laparoscopic techniques allow for faster healing and less scaring. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Favre is a conceited, arrogant, horrible person. She didn't bother to call my husband after my surgery to let him know how it went. At my follow up appt, she had to drain fluid from my hernia site and told me to sit in the chair instead of the exam table and proceeded to stick me with a needle which was quite painful and extremely uncomfortable in that position. I have a high tolerance for pain and needles don't bother me but as to why she didn't let me lay on the exam table for this procedure makes no sense as it would have been easier for all involved. She constantly talked over me and interrupted me every time I tried to answer her questions, threw my weight in my face numerous times, mentioned how "good" she is and was just flat out rude in every way. When I asked if I needed to see her again for another follow up she looked me up and down and said, "Why? So we can show you how to be active?" Wow. No compassion or decency in any way. Never witnessed ANY "caring" from her.

Dr. Favre has operated on me twice now. She is very compassionate and detailed in discussing what the operations would entail. She always takes the time to listen. Whenever possible I will not seek out other surgeons. I am sure there are many as great, but she definitely meets my comfort level. Her staff and particularly her scheduler, Amber, are great as well.

I ended up being referred to Dr. Farve by my dads coworker. The first visit I fell in love with her. She is so easy going and compassionate. I was terrified to have my gallbladder removed after reading so many horror stories online and she eased my mind! Surgery was over before I even knew it. I only needed pain meds for the first couple of days because I overdid it the day of surgery because I felt better than I expected. I’m almost a week post op and other than normal aches and pains from healing.... I don’t regret it at all!

My OB/GYN referred me to Dr. Favre for breast surgery and I could not be more thankful. Dr. Favre is compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Dr. Favre's entire staff was absolutely wonderful. This goes from everyone at the Southwestern Surgery Associate Offices and The Surgery Center. I did not get everyone's names, but Amber who schedules the surgery does an amazing job getting you scheduled and prepared for your procedure. The day of the procedure went better than I could have ever expected. All of the nurses were kind, caring and knowledgeable. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Lopez was wonderful as well. After my surgery, I had no pain at all just soreness and I did not have to take any pain medications. As a matter of fact, I did not even have to take anything, all I needed was ice. I highly recommend Dr. Favre. I will definitely go back to her if I ever have to have surgery again. Many thanks to Dr. Favre and her team.

Since December Dr. Favre has operated on me twice. The first time was for a bad appendix and the second was for a hernia related to the first surgery. She has a very comforting and knowledgeable way about her. I had knowledge of her because she had also operated on my mother twice in the past. My mom was not comfortable around doctors, but Dr. Favre gained my mother’s acceptance. She felt confident that every thing would be ok. My first surgery I got the luck of the draw, she was the surgeon on duty that day. The second surgery I wouldn’t have gone to anyone else. Thanks to Dr. Favre I am back on track and healing quickly. Thank you Dr. Favre......

I was very pleased with Dr. Favre's care and her staff was very helpful, especially Amber. My surgery was cancelled 5 times and finally when the governor eased the surgery restrictions due to COVID19 I was one of the first surgeries Dr. Favre performed. I am doing very well, glad it is over and am on the road to recovery.

Dr. Kelly Farve saw me as a new patient in the middle of the day when my PCP referred me to her for an emergent situation. She explained what needed to be done and why in clear terms. Due to my unstable condition, she obtained a bed for me at a local hospital, within hours allowing me to be admitted directly to my room, rather than through the ER. She rearranged her surgical schedule so that my surgery was done ASAP. After the surgery, she very kindly gave a telephone report to my relatives waiting at home (no visitors were allowed in hospital due to coronavirus). At my first post op appointment, she asked if I had any questions. I could not think of any at that moment, although after I left I remembered my questions. I then called her office and her assistant called me back in a short while with the answers to my questions. Dr. Favre is extremely skillful, knowledgeable, professional, kind and compassionate. I feel very fortunated that Dr Favre was there for me when I needed her.

Dr. Favre gets the highest grades possible from me. She is so compassionate and down to earth. She helped me through a difficult diagnosis, but my prognosis is excellent. She is thorough and thoughtful and an ace surgeon. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I am thankful she has been my doctor through this ordeal. I cannot write enough great things about her. Her office staff also get high grades from me as well. Thank you.

October hernia surgery. Information received before surgery VERY limited. Dr Favre said it was an easy surgery with mild pain and I should be able to return to work quickly with few restrictions (mainly lifting). I was told nothing about possible complications and the potential for extended, possibly life-long pain and discomfort. I did research and found out MANY people experience complications and should be informed before surgery. At my follow-up appointment I tried to discuss my issues and was totally dismissed. I drove two hours to the appointment, came hours earlier than scheduled to accommodate HER need to leave early and was granted MAYBE 5 minutes of her time. Her words to me as she was walking out the door and I was trying to ask her a question were, "come back and see me in 8 months if you're still in pain". No explanations. No information. No suggestions on how to cope. No offer of support. I felt like a number, not a person. After 6 months, current pain worse than hernia.
