Dr. Penney is awesome. He took care of me on the sidelines of my football game when I hurt my shoulder. I saw him in the office and he told me I needed surgery . I had the surgery in December and my shoulder is as good as new. He tells me I will be able to play football this year without a problem .I can't wait for the season to start!

Dr Penney injected my shoulder and I was back playing winning tennis in a week!! Love him!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Penney and his office staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Penney did my knee surgery this summer and I feel fabulous! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon.

He dismisses you after months of X-rays, MRI's when he feels he cannot help. Recommends you to a clinic which is fine except when you call with a simple question they refuse to take the call saying you are no longer a patient. Also if you tell them there's a problem he never addressed you get the same answer He does not care about his patients and doesn't listen. . Just say what he wants and walk out,

Such a great doctor. He fixed my husband's shoulder this fall and now he's ready for golf season!
Scottsdale, AZ |
Issues after surgery were never resolved. My concerns and subsequent limited mobility were never taken serious. Also, his bedside manner was very poor. The quality of my life has been reducted.
Litchfield CT |
Angela the office manager is rude. Both my husband and I saw Dr Penney for rotator cuff injuries. We both decided to have our surgeries elsewhere. The final ma in the coffin is that he practices at Charlotte which is a dirty hospital with high infection rates.

Dr Penney and his PA Tia are very nice. The office is great and very helpful and intelligent. Dr Penney does great surgery and post op goes great with the Doc and PA. Follow their post-op data and all is well. I would recommend all people who need surgery to Dr. PENNEY and PA Tia. Thanks Doc and PA you are a great place to go!

He doesn't jump into drastic treatment or extensive testing. He starts out slow and gives patients options. Dr Penney is low key and puts you at east.
