Saw Dr. Lawhorn for a shoulder problem I had for a few years. He treated me very conservatively (injection & physical therapy) but eventually performed surgery. I’m only a few weeks out but already feel a lot better. He takes his time examining you and spends time explaining his findings and the options for treatment. Always took the time to answer questions. Glad I was introduced to him.

Dr. Lawhorn puts the best interest of the patient in front of everything else. While the decision to undergo the knee procedure we did was not popular with me or my family his ability to break everything down and explain the pros and cons was very comforting. Once in surgery his knowledge and expertise allowed him to perform techniques that provided. The most stability as well as minimize time to heal. I absolutely recommend Dr. Lawhorn.

Dr. Lawhorn helped me significantly. When I arrived to see him I was in significant pain and had little ROM in my left arm and shoulder. After the initial exam he administered 2 injections which alleviated my pain and I was able to regain my range of motion. Although still sore I still have relief from the “frozen” shoulder and am allowed to return to work. I highly recommend Dr. Lawhorn, especially if you want to keep doing what it is you want to do.

Dr. Lawhorn repaired my rotator cuff in Mar 2019 which had a complete tear. The surgery went very well. I was especially happy that Dr Lawhorn warned me not to be too aggressive with the PT . I took his advice and 7 months later I have full range of motion and am pain free. His PA Andrew Elkins was excellent at answering all of my questions post surgery. I highly recommend Dr Lawhorn and Andrew Elkins.

We are a family with athletes and I have dealt with many top notched specialists from different areas of the country. I have yet to have found one as knowledgeable, skilled, meticulous, patient focused, empathetic and is state of the art in his approach as Dr Keith Lawhorn. We came to him out of state with difficult cases, two of our daughters with ACL tears and other complicated issues that others weren’t able to restore to the quality and level of performance as Dr Lawhorn. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else. He’s a gifted surgeon and individual.
