Dr. LaScalea has been my PMD for probably 10 yrs. I see him once a year for annual check-up and he is thorough with the physical exam. It’s easy to communicate with him via WCM..Alwsys give extra time to answer question. Very concerned If something is abnormal and he refer you to a physician who is the best. Caring and willing to listen.

Dr. LaScalea continues to be my go-to internal medicine physician for over 12 years for all the right reasons; he knows his stuff, is unfailingly polite and professional, and makes a point of following up on what needs to be followed up (immunizations, tests).

Thorough, caring and kind. Although it was a Televisit, he made sure to check my throat and eyes using my pc camera which others have not done. Asked the right questions and made sure I understood his responses. Expressed concern about my health and habits. Would highly recommend

Vídeo visit to discuss getting a Covid test after a possible exposure. He was knowledgeable, patient and empathetic. If I didn’t already have an internist I would ask him to be my ongoing doctor. I am a physician myself and he really impressed me.

Dr. Lascalea is very thorough & makes each visit very personable & professional. I have done countless virtual appts throughout this past year and no visit is finished without a complete examination. I very much appreciate having Dr. Lascalea as my PCP as much of my PCP's from the past have overlooked a lot of my concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lascalea's for about 10 years, and he has been the model of what an internist/primary care physician should be. He is thoughtful, thorough, compassionate and an excellent listener. He is not quick to prescribe or send patients off to specialists, but does so when in his judgment it is appropriate to do so. I my experience, his judgment has always been spot-on. If you are looking for an internist you can trust, he should be number one on your list.

Dr. Lascalea is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He treated me for about 5 years when I lived in NYC. I had been living with an inguinal hernia and naively ignored it because a female doc told me 2 years prior that it was "non-operable" and if I could live with the pain, she wouldn't recommend doing anything about it! OMG! Dr. L was mortified and I got the repair surgery soon after. I couldn't even tell you what happened between all of that and the surgery. As a younger man, I had no clue how to navigate something like this. He made sure I had a great surgeon (wish I could remember his name) as it was a very severe case. So, I remember Dr. Lasacalea fondly and always appreciate all the help he provided me during those years. A fantastic doctor who really cares about his patients.

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Lascalea. Came in with some pains which were pretty easily explained as follow-up effects of flu. Dr. Lascalea double checked anyway with further tests just in case, and then called me at 10:30pm!! on the same day to let me know results were worrisome and to go to the ER. This was critical for me to get urgent care that I needed. I can’t be more thankful for his thoroughness, and I’m not even his regular patient - I was just a drop-in that day. Thanks so much!
