Excellent Doctor, great support staff. I had a torn meniscus along with arthritis in my knee. Surgery went great and I was back walking without crutches within 5 days. After 2 full weeks after surgery, the stitches were removed and no physical therapy needed! Very happy with my results and with Dr. Flak.

Dr.Flak was great. My knee is in great shape thanks to him. A great surgeon.
I saw Dr. Flak for a shattered kneecap. He performed a partial patellectomy. He was excellent at explaining my condition and what he would do to correct it. He was always patient and answered all my questions and even drew a diagram. With only 1/2 kneecap I walk fine, no limp and have 120 degree bend in my knee.

Dr. Flak helped me out after a clavicle fracture. He was excellent at explaining my condition. The surgery went well. I healed up great and almost have no scar. I would go again to him if I was ever to break anything else

Husband had a broken foot and hand. Our first appointment naturally took the most time because of xrays, exam, etc. but all the follow up visits only took about 15 minutes and that included X-rays each time. We never felt rushed, and Dr. Flak patiently answered any questions and was very thorough and easy to understand.
Terrible patient care. No bedside manner. Sarcastic and uncaring. I switched to another doctor for post operative care. Dr Flak offered none after removing the staples. He is rude and obnoxious.
Spring, TX |
Doctor wanted to get in and out without any questions from the patient. Very unprofessional person as he would roll his eyes thinking I did not see him. I couldn't say anything negative about his assistant who made up for his rude bedside manners. She went over and beyond in explanations and thoughts about the diagnosis. It was very easy to get in to see this Doctor, maybe that should have been a clue. Every aspect of the visit was superior but the Doctor himself.

I was bucked off my horse last April 2015 and broke my arm right below the ball joint. I went from not being able to lift my arm beyond a 40 degree angle to having full range of motion as if nothing ever happened within months!!! I'm able to put the injury behind me with no reminders except for the small incision...and yes, I'm back in the saddle again! :-)
