I would without reservation recommend Dr, Douglas to anyone in need of a hand surgeon. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and two trigger fingers...after much research for surgeons, Dr. Douglas was highly recommended...had the surgery to correct both conditions,,,after 3 weeks, I am totally pain free and fingers and wrist are completely healed...kudos to Dr. Douglas for a work of perfection !!! Dr. Douglas was an absolute delight to have as a doctor. Being a professional musician in town had me very worried about what was going on with my hand. Dr. Douglas took care of me and got me back to 100%. I would recommend him with the utmost enthusiasm due to his punctuality and efficiency in getting me back on the stage.

Dr. Douglas was very professional and provided excellent surgical work for my broken wrist and carpal tunnel release procedure. He and his staff were very personable and provided excellent care overall. Dr. Douglas is very compassionate and I understand from an x-ray tech that he also does mission work in other countries. He is very talented and caring and I appreciate the great work he did for me.

This doctor shows no compassion , my husband had hand surgery he told him he could fix but he made it worst he put a screw In his hand and never told him until we got another x-ray somewhere else , since then my husband has had a total of 8 strings toco r out of his hand , this doctor should NEVER have this many stars , so very sad

Murfreesboro, TN |
Very professional and compassionate. Dr Douglas performed carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release surgeries on my left arm recently which has resulted in the relief of pain and the burning & numbness I had been suffering in my left hand. I would highly recommend Dr Douglas to anyone with hand or wrist issues.
in Cookeville, TN |
I had an elbow injury as a teenager that required surgery and as a result from that surgery my range of motion was limited to around 65 degrees. After 17 years of living without being able to bend my arm past 90 degrees Dr. Douglas performed surgery and was able to get me back to almost full range of motion, 138 degrees. I would recommend him for sure. Great experience overall.

I took a gunshot wound that injured two fingers very very badly. I was able to make fully functional recovery in my every day life. I'm even back to lifting weights without a second thought about the injury. I credit Dr. Douglas's surgical skill as well as the excellent physical therapy personnel at TOA with my beyond expected recovery.
