I truly wonder what any of these patients are referring to when they say Dr. Carroll is helping them work through something. You go there, you have 15 minutes, you start talking about what has been happening lately, she's writing and writing, never asks a question, never makes a comment. She could be writing her memoirs for all I know. She drops me as a patient after 10 years of going there when i had to cancel 2 appts. because i was dealing with a serious and extremely painful medical problem. You might think you have a relationship with her, you don't. You don't matter to her at all.

I have been seen Dr. Carroll since 2005. During these years, I have experienced any & all situations, both good & bad, that one could possibly endure in life. I have a very stressful career, I suffer from severe PTSD, and have other mental disorders as well. I see Dr. Carroll very regularly and I'm 100% comfortable being 100% honest with her, which I find absolutely imperative for my treatment. She listens, & answers questions. Very knowledgeable about medications. Very trustworthy Doctor,

This doctor initially said she was on my side regarding pain medication for those, like myself that really need the medication. On my last visit, she said she was on the side of those fighting against pain medicine for anyone! I ended the visit and fired her for lying!

It might take you a bit to get your first appointment but her practice is well worth it. She is empathetic, a great listener and works diligently to find the best medication protocol for you if that is needed. I recommend her highly to anyone seeking a psychiatrist in this area.

Dr. Carroll has been helping me with PPD and long term depression and anxiety for a bit more than a year. It took a while to get an appointment but the wait was worth it. She really listens and asks how I'm coping with my bad spots before I think to mention them. She has never made me feel like less of a person for struggling and even when I feel like I'm probably being silly she always takes it seriously as one small part of a larger whole. I wish I'd found her sooner.

I absolutely adore Dr. Carroll. She is the best doctor I have ever had period. She has fought insurance companies for me, she listens and remembers everything I have ever told her. I consider her a friend. She's patient, understanding, sympathetic, and willing to go more than the extra mile. I highly recommend her. There is a shortage of psychiatrists everywhere so just relax. If you call a psychiatrist and you can get in right away, that's a problem. They must not have patients.
