Dr. Timmins' Care Philosophy

I consider the patient the most important member of the care team when treating kidney disease. I consider a large part of my job as a physician is to make sometimes complicated and confusing information understandable to every patient so that they can play an active part in their care. I approach the treatment of kidney diseases from a molecular level and focus on specific therapies based on physiology and evidence-based practice, and try to make those therapies as individualized as possible

Houston, TX |
Everyone in the group is great but Dr. Timmons really shines. She is always energetic, extremely caring and fully explains your medical condition and what can be done to make you better. I credit her for saving my life and getting my transplanted kidney to function again. I am a Lupus patient with many issues but she never gave up on me and worked hard to restore my health and I can never thank her enough for that.
