Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Murray-Leisure "Expert in diagnosing and treating disease, including infections, arthritis, and skin conditions associated with silicone breast implants. Our health journeys work only with mutual commitments towards wellness through the Four Pillars Solution for healthy choices: sleep, activities with exercises, nutrition (eating early in the day), and effective stress management.  Sleep, Exercise, Nutrition, Stress control.  Yoga, meditation, recreation, faith activities, family, friends, and community are key.   Meanwhile, play safe outdoors, avoid ticks and mosquito bites. For men and women in Miami and the tropics, use hats, scarves, wraps, safari gear, bed nets, and bug repellents; with zika and all, they might be life-saving."

The worst doctor I have ever seen. Her lack of knowledge and compassion was beyond lacking. Unwilling to listen or to recommend any proper treatment or advice. Misdiagnosed, which lead to delay in treatment and further complications. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Don't waste your...more

This nasty doctor even asks patients to try climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator. This brutal doctor might ask you to eat "Four Vegetables a day to keep the doctor away." Cut down sugar, exercise more. Stop smokes and moderation on alcohol. Horrible! Don't waste yours or her time if not willing to pursue significant fitness goals.

I suffered needlessly with this doctor! I had several issues stemming from a spinal injury that she told me was the result of getting older and entering menopause. I was told to basically get used to the pain. And despite telling her I had a family history and all the symptoms of hypothyroidism she...more

Spinal problems are mostly from age-related arthritis, bulging discs, and degenerative joints. BONE TUMORS and INFECTIONS need to be considered in rare cases. For most people, multidisciplinary SPINAL CARE CLINICS help in addition to stretches, yoga, swimming, and careful activities. Doctors screen annually for THYROID disease by examining the neck and checking blood levels of "brain thyroid stimulator", TSH hormone. General providers like us prescribe thyroid replacement as needed.

I would not recommend her to anyone. She provided no recommendations other than getting vaccinated. She spent much of the appointment looking up primary care doctor and their background. Just said she would tell them what to do. Didn't even order blood work. Useless. Poor communicator and poor...more

Travel health involves not only expensive shots and vaccines. For safe travel, stay alert to 5 F precautions abroad & overseas: clean food and water, flies insects mosquitoes, fomites (snakes spiders scorpions wounds), flu (Tb, bird flu), and flirtation (ABCs of safe human relations). For mosquitoes, avoid malaria yellow fever dengue and now ZIKA! Bring in the names of your primary providers, your itinerary, all pills, medical information, and previous vaccines for best, most complete care.

Thank you. We learn as much from our patients as from the "books".

Very thorough in initial examination. Deep knowledge about diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease. Listened attentively to my questions. Very clear explanation as to how treatment would proceed.

Thank you. Lyme bacilli in late stages might transform from corkscrew spirochetes into dormant "round forms", persisters that are more difficult to treat. In some cases, we offer multiple drugs for a longer time duration than conventionally given for early Lyme infections.
