Kartikya Ahuja M.D., FHRS graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University. After medical school he completed his medical residency and chief residency at NYU Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center, where his area of basic science research was Long QT Syndrome. He then completed another fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at NYU Medical Center. He specializes in all aspects of electrophysiology including clinical consultation, and all procedures including supraventricular tachycardia ablation, atrial fibrillation ablation, atrial flutter ablation, ventricular tachycardia ablation (endocardial and epicardial), sinus node modification, as well as implantation of loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators (ICD) and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices (BiV-ICD). He also performs laser lead extractions and has significant experience with left atrial appendage closure techniques (WATCHMAN and LARIAT). He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
