Very complicated onboarding process. A packet of about 15 or so pages has to be completed. The website states to fax the paperwork to their office. After completing and faxing paperwork per instructions I waited 3 weeks and received no call, when I call them its always answering machine. I called and spoke with someone at the front desk who says they have no fax machine and never received it. They had no record of me. I mentioned to him that instructions on paperwork and website need to be updated, didn't seem to matter. Please update your website & paperwork so others do not go through this difficulty and delay in their healthcare. I will be calling my health insurance and changing PC. Additionally, I'm also curious to what the "mandatory" 3 first visits are about.

Dr. Desai is a top-notch exceptional doctor. He is a rare find - a doc with 30+ years of experience who is an expert in his field and stays up on medicine and technology and who genuinely cares about their patients. He looks at each person as an individual. This healer has done it all - surgery rotations and internal medicine. So when he sends you for surgery, he can explain why and exactly what to expect and how to prepare you. He is proactive with lots of tests and gathering information. This ensures that he knows you and your health in a comprehensive manner and so he can treat you BEFORE you get sick or sicker. Whether you need surgery or a PCP, he is the one to have in your corner. I work in healthcare, so I understand the inner workings of the health system. A PCP is your "Quarterback", the most important part of your healthcare team. Dr D gives you his expert knowledge and personal connections to the top specialists in the area. I recommend Dr Desai to anyone who wants the best.

I am a nurse and have seen Dr. Desai work with his patients first hand and that is the main reason why I chose him us our family physician. He is the best. He has saved my life twice now by diagnosing my condition very early and referring me to specialists who could help me along the way. He is very caring, always ready to help you and the most important thing is he can be reached at anytime. He is very empathetic and that is something I see lacking in many of our young physicians nowadays. I just thank God that we found him and I hope that he continues his good work for many many years to come!

Dr. Kartik Desai is the very Best! So is his staff and so is his in-house phlebotomist, Kathy. Not only is he brilliant, but he is so kind and just a wonderful person. Almost five years ago I switched from my long time allopathic physician in Columbia to Dr. Desai. Lucky me! It took Dr. Desai only one visit to figure out what was wrong with me, and he told me exactly what I had to do to get better. He never ceases to amaze me. He saved my life, and he probably could save yours too.

Save yourself!!!! Staff is so unprofessional. Run if you can. They won't send refills for days and when you ask them or complain they will change your pharmacy or mess up your appointments. Run!!
