Excellent technical and patient care
Dr Trad is one of those experts who explains things clearly, thoroughly and simply. Doesn't overcomplicate things! And his repair of my hernia with a mesh insert went extremely well. But I wanted to emphasize the quality of staff from reception to surgery center and follow-up: knowledgeable, friendly, answer every question completely. I had a little post-op question. I emailed the patient care desk (yes, they do emails!), got an answer in 60 seconds, five minutes later Dr Trad was on the phone explaining to me it was not an issue at all. And he wasn't rushing me off, just seemed pleased to be able to help. My doctor told me that he had a hernia and Dr Trad did his work, which is why he recommended him. I feel very lucky to have had this referral, both as to Dr Trad and his excellent staff.

Amazing doctor. Very knowledgeable and yet humble and happy to explain things and answer questions. The only GI doctor I am aware of who has knowledge about Subacute Acalculous Cholycystitis that can happen in people with Lyme disease.

Dr. Trad, his Physician Assistant Paul Marino and his entire team are amazing. Not only is he a very skillful, competent surgeon, he takes time to explain and reassure you of his care for you. The whole team is very compassionate. I am a person that reads reviews and I don’t take them lightly. My experience from beginning to end moved me to write this review. I would highly recommend Dr. Trad and his team!

I was referred to Dr. Trad with a large paraesophageal hernia and 30% of my stomach in my chest cavity crowding my lungs. Dr. Trad was very thorough in answering my questions about the procedures and the lengthy recovery. I had read many horror stories about the Nissen Fundoplication procedure and was terrified. However, my difficulty breathing forced me to proceed with the surgery during the pandemic. Five stars are not adequate to describe the superior care I received from Dr. Trad before, during, and after my procedure! I highly recommend Dr. Trad, Paul Marino, and the entire team!

Dr. Trad is the most sincere, attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, compassionate and kind medical professional I have ever known. He truly cares for his patients, and he is remarkably talented in his field of expertise. I am extremely grateful for his recent care before, during and after my gastric surgery. I can't thank Dr. Trad enough for helping me through a difficult series of procedures and for giving me a new lease on life. Very kind regards.

Yes he is great! In Dec. of 2014 I met Dr. Trad. I had a severe case of Diverticulitis and was hospitalized with an infection. I knew nothing of this and was assigned Dr. Trad. Sent home with 3 weeks of IV's to clear infection as it had spread to my whole body. Finally I was operated on and lost 13 inches of my colon. I was scared and in tears. I was in the hospitalized for over a week through Dr. Trad and Paul's care, I recovered well and had a calm, pleasant, stay in Reston Hospital.

Undergoing surgery is never pleasant, but Dr. Trad, and his team, Paul Marino and Allison Barnett, helped make my surgery as easy and effective as possible. All my questions were answered and I never felt rushed. I was also given printed info explaining my procedure and what to expect before and after. Their expertise was never in doubt, but I also felt their warmth and concern. They genuinely care about their patients and do everything possible to ensure a successful and gratifying outcome.

Dr. Trad and his staff (Paul, Allison and Linnea) changed my life (and that of my wife), as we both underwent gastric sleeve surgery. Their support in preparing us for the surgery, as well as helping us thru the surgical process and recovery period was truly world class! Highly recommend you contact them if you are thinking about weight loss surgery.

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about both Dr. Trad, and his PA Paul Marino! Both of these gentlemen are not only the absolute best and most knowledgeable in their field, but they are also the most genuine, and caring healthcare providers you could ever be blessed to care for you! I was completely neglected by another surgeon in August of '16, and I had MANY complications, one being that he didn't even repair one inguinal hernia. Dr. Trad & Paul fixed me perfectly and are the BEST!

Dr. Trad performed a hernia repair surgery on me few months ago. I did that to improve my quality of life and to be more active. The end result is that i feel much worse now and i would give anything right now to go back to the day before the surgery. To be fair,I don't think he did anything wrong but i do think that the procedure itself and the mesh used is not suitable for me. I was not aware of the risks of this surgery and i don't get the feel that Dr. Trad is acknowledging my sufferring.

Dr. Trad was an excellent surgeon and physician. His whole staff made me feel comfortable and all of the nurses and doctors at Reston Hospital were terrific as well. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience having my gallbladder removed (laproscopically). Thank you Dr. Trad! And an additional special thank you to his physician's assistant, Paul Marino. Mr. Marino made me feel that no question or concern I had was unimportant. I felt heard and cared for in the follow up.
