She's nice and quite brilliant but very, very expensive. Last time I saw her about 15 years ago it was $100 for a 15 minute visit for a refill, and she doesn't take insurance.

I began seeing Dr. Brown in September1996. It was after the death of my father. I was no stranger to therapy I had been seeing a psychiatrist n my early 20s dealing with major depression with psychosis. Life was very tough on me I had a very rough childhood and the affects it left behind inside my mind. in and out of hospitals countless appointments she truly handled me like a champ. My insurance was not one she accepted therefore all these years I paid cash. it became overwhelming to pay.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Have been seeing her for 15 yrs or so. Does not accept bcbs so visits are expensive for me and don't miss an appt because you will still be charged for it. Anywhere from $150 to $200 even for a 15 to 30 minute visit for meds. Her staff is slow in responding to phone calls especially about RX. Overall it is still worth seeing her. Just takes some planning ahead.
