I was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the U.S. for better education when I was 17 years old. I completed my high school at the Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles followed by undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UCLA. I obtained my M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. After finished my internal medicine residency training at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, I completed my final official training at Stanford University where I gained the most advanced knowledge in Nephrology. I am a nephrology consultant at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Ca, where I am a board member of the Board of Directors. At Huntington Hospital, I have served as the Chairman for the Pharmacy, Therapeutics, and Diet Committee for more than ten years. I was the Chairman for the Department of Medicine and the President of the Medical Staff. I am a teaching staff for the medicine residency program at Huntington Hospital. I am married with two children. My hobbies include bicycling, racquet ball, movies, music, fishing, dinning, and wine tasting.
