Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Byrd "Dr. J.W. Thomas Byrd has been actively practicing his passion, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, for the past two decades. The principles of sports medicine emphasize a comprehensive team approach in the conservative treatment of injuries with the goal of helping the patient return to a healthy state, as well as focusing on the prevention of new or recurrent sports injuries. When surgery is necessary for the patient, Dr. Byrd's specialty in arthroscopic techniques emphasizes less invasive surgery for a easier, quicker and less painful recovery. These principles, initially developed for the competitive athlete, apply to all injuries whether they occur in the recreational environment, work place or at home."

He wasted 9 months of my time then referred me to another physician saying "I don't know everything". His office is a disorganized mess and they never call you...more
