Cold, Treats You Like A Number.
Will be finding a new psychiatrist. Dr. Vogt does not take patient notes as she has asked me the same questions multiple times, appointment after appointment. Doesn’t listen and just likes to say ‘mmhmm’ as I am speaking. Stay. Away.

In one 30-minute session, Dr. Vogt diagnosed my daughter with a major conduct disorder, spent 5 minutes tops explaining the disorder to me, and then sent us on our way out into the world with this major diagnosis on our hands without so much as exit paperwork, next steps, or where to turn for additional help. If she chooses to provide a response to this review in order to defend her questionable-at-best methodology, know that we have since had second and third opinions by respected psychiatrists, and they both disagree with her diagnosis for my daughter as well as her overall approach. And, don’t ignore the red flags — from the sophomoric website to the unprofessional receptionist to Dr. Vogt’s apparent inability to properly record her notes, as she forgets the patient and the reason(s) for their visit. Do not waste your time, money, or your mental health on a session with Dr. Vogt.

We had a 14 year old with depression, self harm and prior hospital admission. She did a great job switching the class of antidepressant medication and he is doing much better now!

I had a great experience. My child was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder at Chop and they completely missed his ADHD diagnosis. I also like that they have ADHD testing. This diagnosis and her treatment helped a lot to get his temper tantrums under control.

If you want someone who is going to take the time to listen or work with your therapist on treatment, this isn’t it. If you want a psychiatrist who takes insurance and will write a script, go for it. The office staff is unprofessional and you will be in the waiting room for a long time. Reading her defensive responses on this page to any negative comments should tell you everything that you need to know. It wasn’t until I switched to a2nd psychiatrist that I realized how bad things were at BHC.

If you are looking for a psychiatrist who will take the time to get to know your child and develop a treatment tailored to the needs of you child - Do Not Go to Jutta Voght! She will prescribe and change medications without taking the time to see why her treatment is ineffective. She has no bedside manner and did not bother to dig deeper into my child’s mental health beyond a pharmaceutical approach. Thankfully, my child is under the care of a new wonderful Doctor and is thriving on less medications and holistic healing.

My experience with Dr. Vogt as a psychiatrist for my teenager was very negative. My daughter was with Dr Vogt over a year and every visit Dr Vogt had to ask my daughter for her name and what medications my daughter was taking. Basically all Dr. Voght did was push one medication after another until she had my 17 year old 100lb daughter taking 6 different medications. Dr Vogt was never available for an emergency and my daughter’s symptoms got much worse under her care. I would highly recommend NOT taking your adolescent to Dr. Vogt! When my daughter got a new psychiatrist the new Dr was appalled at Dr Vogt’s treatment.

I agree with the posts above who found the receptionist to be beyond rude. She was there every time I had an appointment and never warmed up and continued to be rude. Very unprofessional! Not too impressed with Dr. Vogt either. She never spent time with me to evaluate my mental health. She pretty much asked a couple of questions and wrote scripts.

I was recommended to Dr. Vogt a while ago for my child. I read her reviews before I made first appointment and apparently we didn't meet the same Dr. that everyone else did. She was brief, aloof, quick to write scripts for every ailment my child told her about, and was IMPOSSIBLE to get a message to or speak to. Her front office secretary in the K of P office was absolutely horrendous. She was nasty on the phone, nasty at the window, and was not helpful at all. My child had some serious issues that Dr. Vogt fixed by prescribing more and more medications. I told her many times that I didn't agree with some of the medicines she was treating with. However, she was the Dr. and professional and we had to trust her. Even after a few serious incidents; she never checked in, followed up, or even contacted my husband or I to see how my child was doing. The wait time in her office was 45 minutes or more at times. But, our visit with her never lasted more than 10-12 minutes. HORRIBLE.

I called Behavior Health to schedule my first appointment. I was referred by my therapist. When talking to the receptionist is was ask to provide a credit card to put on file. I explained that I didn't have any credit card because my identity was stolen a few years back and I needed to close my credit card/account and chosen to not reopen them. It took awhile to get my credit in good standing and do not want to go through that again. I explain that I can pay with a check or cash. I was told that after speaking with her boss that I would not be able to make an appointment with this office. It's very disappointing wanting to make an appointment to get help and be turn away because of a credit card. Exceptions are made all the time, and if i'm will to pay with cash I don't see a problem.
