Manner is condescending and sometimes rude. Does not listen. Does not review files prior to visit so you need to provide a verbal summary upon each visit to make sure she knows who you are. Seems to lack compassion and, on one occasion, neglected to respond to requests for her professional assistance.

Has trouble communicatiing with patients and does not respect them. Does not listen carefully and is very forceful. Ordered an HIV test against my protest (says ALL adults MUST have one regardless of risk factor). Was angry I could not remember the name of a doctor I saw once in a walk-in clinic years ago, or what month I had a minor surgery over a decade ago. Insisted I said had symptoms that I CLEARLY told her I did not have (pain in a limb) and then argued with me, implying that I was lying.

I told Dr. Asari I had mild chest pain and they did an EKG in the office. She told me my EKG looked like someone who had had a heart attack. I went for an X-ray and an echocardiogram. I had to prod Dr. Asari for the results. Results said I had diastolic dysfunction stage 3 or 4. Stage 3 is reversible and stage 4 is not. I requested a referral to a cardiologist...... so I could start getting whatever treatments are recommended. No response. Infuriating. I do not recommend.

Does not review your records before attending your office visit. Ask you why the doctors previously didn't do certain things and will ask about their treatment plan. Does not listen to understand but to judge you. Does not tell you why you're doing certain exercises for her. When you call to make a schedule 1 out of 10 times they will actually answer your call.

Dr. Julie Asari is a phenomenal doctor. Unlike some other physicians she takes her time to listen to patient's concerns, she never rushes you and behaves as if she has all the time in the world to spend with you. Her physical exams are very thorough, she does not cut corners one bit. When both me and my wife visited her first, we were amazed, but our second visit reinforced our initial impression. I am an RN myself so I can tell a good physician when I meet one.

Dr Asari called me a liar when I told her why I wasn't able to have 2 CT scans, why I could not get into her office because the door was locked, and why I could not have a blood draw because I had already given one for another doctor.

Dr. Asari gracefully accepted my husband as a new patient when several other doctors refused due to his extremely complicated case. She visited my husband at the hospital during off-work hours. She was very thorough during our visit to her office and gave sound medical advice. She and her staff are highly accessible via phone, fax and patient web portal. Dr. Asari is an excellent professional with a big heart. My highest recommendation.

Dr. Asari is a good doctor. The reason why I changed is due to the receptionist at the front desk. She is unprofessional. She changes the appointment time without informing the patient; she doesn't apologize but tells the patient that they came on the wrong date. She also lies.
