Dr. Olivero graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He then received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine. From there, he completed his training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board certified in Nephrology and is a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension as well as a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He is a clinical instructor at Houston Methodist Hospital and sits on a number of committees, formerly serving as Medicine Quality Subcommittee Chair. He is the medical director of the Nephrology Ward at Houston Methodist Hospital and of DaVita Med-Center at Home Dialysis Unit. Dr. Olivero was listed as a Top Doctor of 2013 in Houstonia magazine.
