I was not examined thoroughly, wasn't told the results of the x-ray that was taken immediately after I arrived and was denied treatment until an MRI was done. Although I requested using Shield's MRI service, patients are directed to use Dr. Siegel's own MRI. I believe that care through Dr. Siegel and his Access Sports Medicine facility is compromised by in their pursuit of ordering high tech tests for profit. I went to Mass General, received prompt and effective care immediately. No tests needed

We went to Dr. Siegel after 2 failed attempts at 2 other area orthopedic offices to find out what was going on with our sons Shoulders. After an MRI, Dr. Siegel was immediately able to diagnose the problem, a strength imbalance due to weight lifting not appropriate for his sport, then prescribed the appropriate physical therapy and return to sports treatments. Mike is now back to playing College baseball and has Successfully put the injuries behind him. Thank You Dr. Siegel

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
