Worst doctor ever. Misdiagnosed my daughter after placing her ear tubes. She has been walking around with ear popping, pain and unable to swim since she’s in the swim team after him placing ear tubes in September of 2018. After seeing him as a self pay patient twice, not only did he charged me 400 dollars per visit but also told me there was nothing wrong with my daughter. Already have seen another amazing doctor in Jacksonville where he diagnosed her right away and had surgery done once again. No more popping in her ears or pain but hearing loss from damage done by dr. Mitchell who placed her ear tubes too close to her ear bones causing all those issues. Please be an advocate for your child and do not see this doctor.

Dr Mitchell is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He saved our son’s life with a complicated neck surgery and has been great with follow up ever since. You can tell he cares about his patients!

Excellent doctor. Our son was diagnosed with tongue tie and he performed the clipping of the lingual frenulum and was very patient with us and our baby. He wasn’t latching right away after the procedure and after a week I lost hope but Dr Mitchell saw us in office again, checked our baby and provided reassurance and encouragement. He encouraged me to keep offering my breast and to be patient and call anytime with concerns. Everything worked out. He’s cooing and eating well.Thank you Dr Mitchell.

Removed son’s tonsils and adenoids. Good experience. However, X-ray taken by pulmonologist for breathing problems showed adenoid regrowrh and narrowing airway. Back to Dr. Mitchell who did think the X-ray was clear and had never seen adenoids grow back. Second opinion agreed with X-ray and pulmonology and his adenoids were again removed. Advocate for your child!! You know them better than the doctors do!
