Dr. Alpert came in to my life when I needed to address shoulder pain I was having. When a cortisone shot didn't help, and after an MRI, it was apparent I needed surgery. Dr. Alpert explained I needed a complete rotator cuff repair and what to expect for recovery. My surgery (June 2020) went smooth, my healing progressed very well as I adhered to all of his advice and was also very resolute with my physical therapy. I saw him every 4-6 weeks since my surgery and the appointments were always efficient but he never rushed through and he made sure he answered any questions or concerns. One of the best things about Dr. Alpert, is his availability to answer questions, even outside of an office visit. I'm five months out from my surgery and I have full range of motion and am pain free! I find Dr. Alpert to be very professional and personable, and I'm very thankful that I have him as my orthopaedist.

After sustaining a significant shoulder injury, I sought treatment from Dr Alpert. He listened tentatively to my concerns and initially chose a conservative course of treatment. When the prescribed treatment was unable to fully restore my shoulder to the function I required, Dr Alpert explained our only recourse would be surgery. Dr Alpert found extensive damage to my shoulder joint and surrounding structures, which he was able to successfully repair. He provided complete explanation to help me understand the repairs and what to expect during my healing and rehab. My surgery was nothing short of excellent and with minimal pain, adhering to Dr Alpert's recommendations and protocol. I highly recommend Dr Alpert, and his staff who work cohesively to coordinate his patients care!
