Knee Injection for Arthritis
The office is very busy, but having X -Rays taken, talking to the Medical Assistant and the Dr.'s Personal Assistant the time flew. Dr. Albert was very busy and made an unnecessary visit to see me and check up on my well being. His P.A. did the actual knee injectio

Reverse shoulder surgery at 56
What can I say I never wait more then maybe 5 min in waiting room always prompt great people and very professional I’ve been pain free now in my right shoulder and can’t wait to get the left one done next. I never thought it was possible to feel this good again . I’ve had no problems what so ever since surgery. I do recommend this For anybody that’s in pain . When people ask me about it I tell them to go get it done. Don’t be scared and get it done the earlier the better. I’m just a quick healer more so then others after 4 months and 2 weeks I’m going back to work God help me and God bless Dr. Albert and his staff you will never be forgotten from Osceola,Indiana so glad I got to meet these people. And I’ve been in and out of orthopedic sports medicine quite a few times I’ve never had a bad experience here in my home town thank God .And I should be a poster child for reverse shoulder surgery js.

Exceptional and Accessible Doctor
My personal contact came after a trip to the ER, while ‘taking care of my brother’ who was recovering from rotator cuff surgery from Dr. Alpert. I broke my shoulder and arm and upon my release from the ER, I was told to see an orthopedic surgeon within the week. – How was I supposed to get that arranged? It’s the end of the day, my brother and I are now both incapacitated. . .Thankfully, my brother said “You know an orthopedic surgeon and I can give you his email address. Dr. Alpert.” (Dr. Alpert gives his personal email address to all his patients.) I immediately emailed Dr. Alpert requesting an appointment and I received a reply 'from him' (not one of his staff) within hours. I was seen the very next day in his office! I am still amazed at how fast I was able to receive an appointment with such an exceptional doctor! In this ‘leave a message and someone will get back to you’ age, this truly is a unique doctor.

Excellent experience with Dr. Alpert
Dr. Alpert has been extremely thoughtful, communicative and effective in the diagnosis and treatment of my son. After my son injured his knee playing basketball, Dr. Alpert helped us quickly obtain an MRI, evaluated the pictures and laid out our options (with recommendations) in a clear way. Ultimately we decided on surgery. His performance leading up, during and after was outstanding, not to mention his team's performance in support. I'm happy to say my son is recovering well. Dr. Alpert = highest recommendation.

Kind, Compassionate, Helpful
I came to Dr. Alpert for a second opinion . He is very kind and took the time to help me to understand not only the MRI and Xrays but how my knee should work and what is currently happening. We went over all of the things that I have been doing for my knee and he assured me that I was doing everything that I could be doing.

The Ultimate in Patient Care
This was a followup visit. The good doctor had been treating me for osteo-arthritis of both knees. I had lubricant injected 3 months prior and this new lubricant requiring two separate visits had the best effect. The doctor is professional enthusiastic and truly cares about his patients. If you have knee problems this is the doctor to see.

Wrist pain, trigger finger
Dr. Alpert is great. I do have a complaint about how the organization works. I knew Dr. Alpert area of practice is shoulder (big bone) not hands. BUT when I tell the person on the phone the Dr. I want to see based on their specialty, they will not let me see that Dr. They say Dr. Alpert is your Dr. you have to see him. Then Dr. Alpert tells me I need to see a different Dr. and. an appointment is made for him. This has happened twice over the years. It is a waste of my time, Dr. Alpert time, and Medicare to not be able to go see the right Dr. On the first visit. A couple years ago I made an appt. with a Dr. There for an elbow problem. 2 days. Before the appt. The office called me and said I couldn't see him. Dr. Alpert was my Dr. and I had to see him, or go somewhere else ! Eventually I had surgery and the Dr. I first had the appt. with, helped on the surgery. This is not Dr. Alpert problem, this is an organization/ scheduler issue.

Expert and fast
Had an excellent visit with Dr Alpert for a knee issue which occured without trauma. Called for an appointment and got in to see Dr Alpert the very next day. Staff was courteous and punctional. All of the diagnostic equipment is available right in the facility, so no need to see practitioners outside of their office. An expert exam and opinion was provided by Dr Alpert and several treatment options were presented from the least invasive to injections. In the end, a joint decision was made to just wait and see on the knee since I did not have any prior issues with it. That was a reasonable cautious approach.
