Dr. Shelton was recommended to me by my favorite Doctor, so I went in feeling comfortable about the procedure. It was my first colonoscopy, so I was a little nervous. Everyone said the pre-procedure was the worst part, in all honesty it wasn't bad at all with the products Dr Shelton advised to use. The procedure itself was over in seconds. Dr. Shelton came to me before and after the procedure to explain everything. He has a very easy manner which I always appreciate.

After calling this Doctor to ensure he treated my condition. I was assured several times he would. After sending in all my records, waiting 2 weeks, I finally received a phone call saying my case was too complicated for him and I should see someone else. Complete waste of time. Yet another self centered doctor who only wants to treat easy cases and does not care about patients suffering at all.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
