I was with Dr. Lillo for several years and thought he was the best Doctor in Arizona. During a tough time with pain, I was trying desperately to get an appointment or a call back from him or his assistant. They ignored my calls and so I was got frustrated and pleaded with them to call me back. They never did and after a few days I called to make an appointment to find he had terminated me as a patient. I was shocked and heartbroken. I moved on and found a great doctor but I would not recommend him as if he did this to me, he could do this to you. I should have reported him to the Board of Health but just decided to move on.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lillo’s for 10-14 years. He is the primary Care Physician for my whole family. He is always in a wonderful mood and is honest. He is very down to earth and will take the time to really listen to you and figure out what’s going on. His entire staff is like family to us. Thank you for everything your office has done for us and continue to do everyday.

Dr. Lillo should consider retirement for he is not as up to date and refers to other old practitioners with old procedures. After having my gall bladder removed by his referral I now have a hernia from the incision. I was a patient of his for 20 years. It's time to go.

I was one of Dr. Lillo's first patients about 35 years ago. He is the kindest and most knowledgeable doctors that I know. With my continual back issues, he has kept me out of the hospital on many occasions. Do I trust Dr. Lillo - heck yes, with my life. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with him - you'll be with him forever.

Today I learned after being a long term patient of Dr. Lillo I was dropped by his practice via some letter they sent that I never received. I made an honest and fair compliant about the poor service from his PA's. I put up with that poor service because I had such respect for Dr. Lillo as I thought he was very nice man who cared. Dropping a long term patient via some letter is something I never would imagine him or his practice to do but I was wrong. It happened to me and can happen to you.

I have been using Dr. Lillo for about 18 years. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable in diagnosing problems and recommending a course of action. He will refer you to a specialist if needed to make sure that the issue is thoroughly investigated and issues can be resolved. He is very direct and gives a laymen's explanation of your problem. In most cases Dr. Lillo can treat you in his office. He is very easy to talk to and has an excellent doctor patient manner.

Scottsdale Family Health on Osborne is among the worst medical offices in all of AZ. The general office and reception staff are the rudest and most unhelpful medical professionals I have every met. It shows in their attitude and manners that they do not care about their patients and they are not there to help you. The office has policies that make it near impossible to obtain hand written prescriptions in time for you to get a refill before running out of medication. No answering service.

Just yesterday I had a CT scan ordered by Dr. Lillo and this morning before 7 am he phoned me to give me the results. Dr. Lillo's care and follow up is the best we have experienced. My wife and I have experienced over 30 years of excellent personal health care from Dr. Lillo. His staff and nurses reflect his excellent caring for his patients.

Have been going to Dr. Joe for yrs. When my insurance changed I still went to him even though it was out of pocket for me. I have total trust & faith in him as a caring, helpful physician. If I need help beyond what the front staff can do as far as scheduling, I leave msg w his MA's & get reply back to my request same day whether to fit me in or call in rx to pharmacy. Front office has gotten better. They can be cold, unfriendly & rude.

Except for a couple of years that I moved out of state, I have been Dr. Lillo's patient for around 37 years. he has always taken time to listen to me and show total interest in my well being. I like the fact that he is an Osteopathic Physician. He gives me adjustments when needed. He refers me to nearby specialists when treatment is needed that is outside his expertise, or when his recommended treatment has not yielded the expected results. He does not prescribe unnecessary tests or drugs.

Nice, easy-going physician but unfortunately listens to the general idea of your chief complaint. Does not take time to delve deeper into presenting history. Rushes through examination. I genuinely feel as though this physician doesn't listen. Good if you have a fast-track sort of appointment necessary. Not good for long-term healthcare.
