Terrible - will charge your insurance ~$470 for a visit. He will ALWAYS spray you with liquid nitrogen so he can then bill you $370 (office visit was $100), as he classifies it as 'surgery'. What a gimmick - he barely sprayed me at all on my back. Sounds like insurance fraud to me.

Dr. Kaufmann is horrible. I needed a systemic medication for my psoriasis. He prescribed Otezla and put me on samples right away, but was unwilling to follow through with my insurance to get it approved after saying they had spent a whole 15 hrs. on a specialty medication . Otezla gives free medication if your M.D. is working with insurance, but when I called their help line, I found out they had been given someone else's insurance information. He was rude and angry and blamed me.

I love Dr. Kaufman! I've been seeing him since I was a kid (I'm in college now) and I think he's the best doctor in the area. He's always given me helpful advice and I also really enjoy talking to him. He's a wonderfully nice person and I always feel comfortable around him. He looks out for the best of his patients, trying his hardest to make sure that they're able to get the most out of appointments. I definitely recommend him! The staff is also very friendly and easy to talk to.

Very personable, knowledgeable, and calmly clinical. My family and I have gone to him for almost 10 years now - he's really excellent. No feeling of churning patients through the door with him at all.

He was personable, spent adequate time with me, diagnosed my rash and took a biopsy of a small growth on my arm that 2 other Dermatologists said to ignore. I was surprised by his thoroughness.
