He is a member of the Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons, American Urogynecologic Society, the International Urogynecologic Society and the International Continence Society. Joseph Gauta, MD, FACOG serves as one of only 50 instructors in the nation on the teaching faculty of Boston Scientific's prestigious Pelvic Floor Institute, and provides education and training to Urologists, Surgical Gynecologists, and Urogynecologists from throughout the world.
He is ranked by Press-Ganey in the top 1% of physicians in the nation for Patient Satisfaction. Since being consistently honored with the Vitals Award and Patient's Choice Award since 2008, an award reflecting excellence in care, he now ranks in the top 1% of all physicians in the country as receiving the Patient's Choice Award five years in a row.
