Dr.Brewer has been my physician for the past 20 years. His dedication to finding the root causes for his patient's medical issues gave me my life back. His office is unlike ANY other dr office, including Mayo Clinic, as he spends at least an hour with you, never rushing, always listening and sharing any new information he has discovered. He is truly an amazing doctor.

I have known Dr. Brewer for 23-years after presenting very complicated and unique multiple health issues. I am alive today because he lives by one of his personal mottos: "Just because we have not found a cause does not mean one does not exist, we just have not found it yet." He has called me at all hours to share information and insight as he searched for answer and shared numerous professional journal articles and discussions with colleagues throughout the globe on similar cases. He has made assumptions that certain aspects of my complicated illness would meet the symptomatic criteria identified by researches and then verified the results with lab analysis. Dr. Brewer is a rare breed in the modern medical field who does not limited his dedication to his clients to the harsh dictates of insurance and financial limitations. After 23-years, I consider Dr. Joseph Brewer more than one of my physicians, he is my friend.

I have been a patient of Dr Brewer for 35 years. The first time I saw Dr Brewer was for a pseudonymous infection of my lower left leg from a car accident. I credit Dr Brewer in saving my leg. Several years later I was having all types of back, and joint pain. Dr Brewer recognized a possible problem with my immune system, and had me tested for the HLA-B27 antigen that attack joints, and eyes. In 2011 I had a large lump develop on the right side of my neck. Dr Brewer had a biopsy on a lymph node, and it turned out a very terminal form CLL leukemia with no more than 6 years to live. With great cancer trials at MD Anderson I believe I am CLL cancer today. In 2015 I was bitten by a lone star tick. It put my life in danger, in the hospital under Dr Brewer's care. Later that year with my poor immune system I developed PCP pneumonia, and Mechanical Ventilation was required. Les than 50% of patients survive after being Mechanical Ventilated. Again Dr Brewer saved my life

Both encounters I've had with Dr. Brewer have been amazing. He was the first physician in my lifetime that actually took time to LISTEN to my life story, take ALL my symptoms into consideration, make a definitive diagnosis and provide answers to decades of questions. Had I met him 20 years ago, I might not have suffered as much as I have. God bless Dr. Brewer. I hope he never retires!

When I first saw Dr. Brewer over 10 years ago I was very sick and could barley get out of bed. Dr. Brewer never gave up and continued to look into factors that not only caused the issue at hand, but other factors that could be the cause of why my system was so week and unable to truly heal. I can now say due to Dr. Brewer never giving up and always looking into different ways to help, I am able to get out of bed and have an amazing quality of life. I truly owe him for saving my life!

Dr. Brewer and his entire staff are the best I have ever experienced, they are kind considerate and compassionate. Dr Brewer listens and takes all the time needed to explain my test results. I was in severe pain with surgical site infection and they have literally saved my life. Dr Brewer and his staff have worked aggressively at successfully attacking the infection that was present for over 5 months prior to taking on my care. Dr Brewer, his nurses and every staff member provide excellent care.
