Dr. Bowen did not keep me waiting for an hour, less than fifteen minutes. He came in asked me about twelve questions and moved my leg around to find where the pain was. I have had ongoing pain in my hip for a year. X-rays showed nothing, no arthritis, no hip replacement but it hurt and was completely controlling my life when I did physical work, which I do often as I am a very busy person. He diagnosed me with bursitis. I felt relief that someone understood what was happening. He was great.

Dr. Bowen and his staff are fantastic. I am 54 and needed a hip replacement. I have limped along on cortesone shots, and decided to have the surgery. I was petrified. Throughout the process, Dr. Bowen and everyone on his staff and the new ortho wing at KMC are very supportive and helpful. I had surgery yesterday, and have zero resting pain, thus far. I am doing well and anxious to get back to feeling great. Dr. Bowen has a great reputation and takes lots of time with his patients. Thanks so much

Dr. Bowen has replaced both my hips and I could not be happier. After the first surgery in 2013, I had retired in Hawaii, but returned to Idaho when it was time for hip number two. I have always led an active lifestyle and the new hip has allowed to return to the hiking and cycling I enjoy. He and his staff made us feel like family and I would easily give him a five-star rating.

Doc Bowen replaced my Left hip in late 2010 when he was at CDA Associates. I was 45. Works like a charm. Poly cup & metal ball. Staff are terrific & friendly. I avoid impact sports cause I prefer the new hip to last. Poly & metal are the safest is my understanding. Metal to metal have the tendency to dislocate & leach excess Vitamin E into the body. ~Patrick J.
