Mine was an initial consultation for some chronic and sporadic knee pain. Dr. Barker listened to my history of knee issues and past surgeries before making his recommendation. Thumbs up again!

Excellent Dr. He absolutely greets you when he comes in the room and that alone makes you feel welcome. He points out everything that he's done and asks you if you have any questions. Makes sure you are 100% before you leave his facility. He absolutely receives 5 stars, if there were more he'd receive those to. A great big thank you to Dr. Barker and his staff!!

I had a labrum tear in my left hip from overuse running/rucking in the Army. For 6 years all of my Army Doc's and PT's told me that it will heal itself, or that everybody has that, then give me a cortisone shot and send me on my way. Finally, after years of constant pain, Dr. Barker said "I can help you" he assured me that my recovery would be fast and he kept his word! I'm 6 weeks post-op and constantly have to remind myself in the gym to slow down because of how good my hip feels! I can't wait to see how I will feel in the next 6 weeks.

Dr. Barker is an excellent surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone with shoulder pain. He performed rotator cuff repair surgery on me twice and I have had an excellent outcome both times. He explains options well and answers questions thoroughly. The entire office staff is professional and courteous. I highly recommend Raleigh Orthopedic Clinic and Raleigh Orthopedic Surgery Center.

Raleigh orthopedic clinic functions like a surgery factory. You are in and out and everyone seems like they are in a hurry and are focused on patient turnover rather than patient care. Dr. Barker is very quick and he speaks very fast. I think he is a good surgeon but my overall experience at the clinic has been absolutely awful and therefore I cannot recommend him.

Dr. Barker is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. I believe very strongly that my progress and success following the surgery is very much because of the stand-up job he did on my knee.

Dr. Barker is extremely easy to talk to and has a wonderful personality. Any questions I had (and I had many), he gave me "easy to understand" answers. I was confident in his ability to perform my surgery as he broke down the procedure he would be performing on my shoulder. I also loved the before and after pictures!!!

I felt like Dr. Barker and his staff had my best interest in mind. They were kind and courteous. This was my first surgery to repair joint damage, but have been very satisfied with the results. Recovery time was less than expected, and I am far better now than before.

Dr. Barker was professional, courteous and explained all aspects of the surgery and what to expect afterwards with rehab. Surgery for a pectoralis major repair was a complete success along with the outpatient therapy clinic he recommended (Holt Physical Therapy). Minimal complaints throughout the process.
