This Doctor does not listen. I had been taking oral pain medication for my condition (Norco & Tramadol). First visit he prescribed pain patches (Fentanyl). I tried one and got really sick. 2 weeks later, I gave him back all of the patches except one. He again prescribed another pain patch ("different" medication. Half of the potency of the Fentanyl). I expressed that I am afraid to put the patch on. Said he couldn't prescribe anything else. No other options given.

I have been very happy with Dr. Rivero's treatment of my back, hip, groin, and nerve pain. I trust & appreciate him so much that I recommended him to my father who has seen a bazillion docs, without getting any relief. Dad got some relief at his first visit 2 weeks ago! Also, "hats off" to his awesome staff who do fabulously even when the waiting room is full! Thank you Dr. Rivero & staff!

Dr. Jorge and staff ROCK!

The person who gave a bad review must have seen a different doctor. Dr. Rivero is nice, patient and competent. I have seen a lot of drs. with bad tableside manners, and he certainly is not one of them. Support staff were highly effective, and they managed to get me an emergency appointment rather quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rivero and his office.

I would highly recommend Dr. Rivero. I am a retired nurse and felt like he was very polite and professional. He did a test injection on my first visit and got my treatment underway. I am done with pills and ready for a real solution to my pain. He is my answer!

Rivero has helped me & my family for a while and we couldn't thank him anymore. Great doc and amazing staff. Enjoyable time there.

I have been with Dr Rivero since he came to Keystone - he is AMAZING. He is kind and considerate when it comes to the patients and their problems. He is a very down to earth doctor. Don't try to fool him or his girls at the front - they can smell the lies before you walk in!! Anyone who claims to have had a bad experience with doctor Rivero must have just only been looking for prescriptions or not got what they wanted! He's the best out there- hands down.
in Pittsburgh, Pa |
He is extremely rude. Talks over patients and is only looking to get you in and out as quick as possible. Dr Rivero has very little respect for the feelings of his patients. Does not take the time to listen and understand what is wrong, but would rather jump to conclusions and push you out to get on to the next patient. Would definitely NOT recommend.
in Collier, PA |
Very inconsiderate. Tries to see as many patients as he can. Doesn't listen rushes thru appointments. Doesn't care how patient feels, assumes he KNOWS how patient is feeling. Very rude and on high horse. Accuses someone of many back surgeries and in a lot of pain and on pain meds for 10 years of "seeking drugs" Do not waste your time! Drs. like him are a dime a dozen. Does not bring anything new or helpful to the table. Just tries to bring you into the practice to add to his patient list.

I have already recommended him to everyone i know, my whole family sees dr. Rivero. Of any dr i have ever been to he is by far the best. He truly cares about his patients and does whatever is necessary to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. He will sit there and talk to you forever and listen to every word you say, not many dr will do that. He also has an outstanding, friendly, and efficient staff at his office!!

Dr Rivero is amazing listens to his pt unlike other drs

Dr Becerra is the Best Pain DR that I've seen. The very 1st time I saw him for neck pain, he went to move my head and I asked him NOT to do that, it would hurt. Right then he said Facet Joints / Surgery. A month later I was having Surgery. Dr Becerra made no attempt like other Pain DR's I've see, tried to say lets try a nerve block first. I always compared Pain Doctors as Chiropractor's with a license to do Spinal injections first. But NOT DR Becerra. The very first DR that I've trusted.

Absolutely a wonderful Doctor. Helped me very much. Listened to health history and made the best decision for me. I would highly highly recommend him. Took time to listen and answered all questions. A real keeper Staff was very good. All around excellent experience
in Canonsburg, PA |
Dr Rivero gave me my life back. After going to doctor after doctor getting no results, Dr Rivero was able to eliminate the lower back pain I suffered with most of my adult life (I'm now 50+ yrs). He left Keystone Pain to open his own practice. In doing so, he was limited as to what he could say to his patients, however, if you asked about his leaving he was honest & said where he was going.
in Bridgeville, PA |
Dr. Rivero has helped me to manage the pain from DDD, spinal stenosis and arthritis. I have been basically satisfied with his treatment. I feel that he should explain things better
Pittsburgh, Pa |
Dr. Rivero is an insensitive and unprofessional doctor. His staff is rude and dismissive. They do not care about the welbeing of the patients. He never returned phone messages, then up and left his practice without notifying the patients. Many were left without medication and showed up to a locked office door when an appointment was made.
in Venetia, PA |
He listens to past history and does not dismiss ideas or medicatons you have had success with in the past or are currently having success . He does not make you a guinea pig for the newest medicine on the market.
