This content was provided by Dr. Rey "Dr. Rey joined the Surgery Department at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine in 2011 as an Assistant Professor directly after completing his fellowship in vascular surgery at Albany Medical Center. He is double board certified in General and Vascular Surgery since 2010.He was promoted to Director of Vascular Surgery Fellowship Training Program in 2012 and has received numerous teaching awards during his tenure and has been recognized as an outstanding educator by medical students and surgical residents.During his early training Dr. Rey developed a life-long interest in improving the treatment of patients suffering with thoracic and abdominal aneurysms. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals on these topics, focusing primarily on the patient-centered outcomes including function and quality of life following intervention. He currently serves as Interim Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and holds membership in various vascular societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.Since arriving at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Rey has focused his practice on the management of aneurysmal disease, arterial occlusive disease, critical limb ischemia, thoracic outlet syndrome and carotid disease.To make an appointment with Dr. Jorge Rey please contact his office at 305-243-8272"

Dr. Rey is professional, caring & extremely informative. He goes the extra mile for his patients. He has excellent office staff and medical support team. You will not be disappointed in the care you receive. I'd say he is one of the best vascular surgeons in south Florida if not the state/nation!
