Dr. Weiner is one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable doctors that I have ever seen. He did a thyroid biopsy on me and did not botch it. He diagnosed a sinus infection in me on two occasions after my regular internal medicine Dr. told me that there was nothing wrong with me. On top of that, his bedside manner is excellent. He actually LISTENS to what you have to say and does not rush you in and out. I would never consider seeing anyone but Dr. Weiner for ear, now & throat issues.
in Scottsdale, AZ |
Dr Weiner is attentive, helpful and very good at explaining your needs. He listens carefully and shows care for your concerns. However, his office staff is borderline incompetent, rude and just plain terrible at their jobs. Specifically his assistant Fay. Good luck getting anything accomplished. You will fight for every service. Phone calls won't be returned, scans won't be scheduled. So unfortunate, because he's a fantastic doc.

He knows his medicine very well and is very trusting. Lots of confidence with him. Always fixes the problem.
New York, NY |
Went in for a nodule biopsy on my thyroid. Biopsy was not done correctly. I am being charged for a botched procedure. I can't trust that he won't mess up again. I will not recommend him to anyone.
in Phoenix, AZ |
Truly one of the most knowledgeable, accommodating, caring, understanding and patient doctors I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I came to him for a second opinion after a very bad experience with another doctor and I couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you, Dr. Weiner!

Dr. Weiner says...

Dr. Weiner does offer balloon sinuplasty to appropriate patients in addition to or as an alternative to traditional endoscopic surgery.  He states "the balloon technique, similar in concept to balloon angioplasty, allows the surgeon to open a diseased sinus with a minimally invasive technique and reduced trauma compared to traditional surgery.  This can reduce the risk of postoperative bleeding as well as scar tissue formation."
