My practice philosophy is to provide individualized care to each patient. In order to achieve this, I believe it is important for the physician and patient to act in a partnership to make the best decisions together. I strive to bring the latest in surgical care, including laproscopic techniques to my patients and deliver the best health care possible.

I am a board certified general surgeon who practices exclusively at the Mount Auburn Hospital.  I specialize in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery.  My interests are broad but my practice primarily consists of surgery for hernias, the gastrointestinal tract, and other intra-abdominal organs.

My practice in general surgery is primarily abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.  I specialize in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) approaches to surgery.  I focus on hernia repairs of all types, gallbladder removal, appendix removal, and colon and rectal surgery for benign (such as diverticulitis) and malignant (such as cancer) causes.  I also perform surgery on the small intestine, stomach, spleen, and adrenal glands.
