After earning my medical degree from Saint Louis University I completed my ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and additional fellowship training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at The University of Minnesota. Needed corneal transplant, had complete cornea available, but only replaced partial. Surgery should have been to replace complete cornea, but partial left patient with inability to see out of the eye. If a window has a whole in it, one does not cut out the damaged part & only replace the section...more

Dr. Schell performed a total of six eye surgeries on me in 2016. I had fantastic results. I have highly recommended him to family and friends.
