He was very nice and I would highly recommend him .He explained everything about your diagnosis very thoroughly too . Wonderful bedside manners and it was my first visit to an orthopedic doctor too. Had heard alot of horror stories too but those people obviously went to doctors that didnt know what they were doing not Dr.Maher.

I saw Dr. Maher for a meniscus tear in my knee. He was the only ortho I saw (out of 3) who really talked through my options with me and didn't push surgery on me. He was willing to treat me either way, and I ultimately came back to him for surgery - and am glad I did! He was great about explaining everything & my surgery could not have gone smoother. I was walking normally within a few days & my swelling went down very fast!

I've had two issues that Dr. Maher was able to take care of. First was my left knee, the second was my left shoulder. Both instances I required surgery. During the entirety of both cases I was made perfectly aware of my choices and courses of action. Dr. Maher was very patient and informative. He was able to answer my questions in such a way that I understood. He always informed me of the pros and cons of each path. His staff, at both locations is also top notch.

Would not recommend. Felt like I was being pushed into a treatment plan that did not fit me.

My 13 year old son hurt his leg, and we were referred to Dr. Maher. About 2 months later, we were there with my son having a broken arm. Dr. Maher is always very friendly, takes the time to explain everything to us. When my son got his cast put on, Dr. Maher kept asking my son if everything was comfortable, and made sure that we knew how to care for the cast, and made us feel very comfortable. we will be returning to have the cast removed, and feel confident that all will be back to normal.
