Very good hand surgeon! Cut 7 tendons and alot more in a accident. Saved my hand and life, year later got most moment back. Still getting better everyday

My surgery came out fine. Dr Liu's staff was another matter. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. From canceling coverage with my insurance halfway thru my surgerys to trying to get ahold of billing but only could reach their fax machine, I would never go back to this doctor again.

My son broke his thumb playing football. He was referred to Dr Liu who put three pens and then later remove them. Now my son is able to continue playing football without any problems. I would definitely recommend Dr Liu he is great at what he do.
Hanford, CA |
Caring doctor, great personality, explains all aspects of patient problems and how to rectify their medical needs

Dr Liu is treating my mom at Kaweah Delta. He has performed several surgeries in the last two weeks. This guy blows in like the wind and you never know when he's coming but when he is there, you can tell he cares. He has done everything in his power to save my moms thumb. I'm very impressed with Dr. Liu. Visalia is lucky to have him!
in Exeter, CA |
Dr Liu is always very friendly and listens to my concerns and I have recommended him to friends and coworkers. Waiting time at his office for my appointment is reasonable. I don't feel rushed thru my appointment
Dr. Liu is a great doctor and surgeon, but he is WAY overbooked. Be prepared to wait at least an hour to 1 1/2 hrs. in a very small crowed waiting room with not even enough chairs...people literally have to stand outside. If after he sees you he decides you need a procedure scheduled, you will have to wait another 1/2-3/4 hr for the receptionist to call you back up for the paperwork.
He has been moved to a new office. His new office is much nicer with a large waiting room. They also provide coffee and candys to the patients now.

I absolutely would not recommend Dr. Liu . His office over schedules patients, and very long waits.Incorrect information on surgery and recovery process and timeline.Once surgery is complete, never saw the Dr. Again.Sent to another Dr. For aftercare.Office staff showed lack of concern for our unhappiness with the Dr.'s disconnection with us after the surgery. Please, I would strongly recommend another Dr.
